Adventurer of the Year, congratulations to Kilian

CONGRATULATIONS TO KILIAN JORNET NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PEOPLE’S CHOICE ADVENTURER OF THE YEAR

We’re excited to share that Salomon athlete Kilian Jornet, a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year for 2014, has won the People’s Choice Award. 

Each year for the past eight years, ten adventurers have been named Adventurer of the Year based on“extraordinary achievement in exploration, conservation, humanitarianism and adventure sports.”In November, National Geographic asked its readers to cast a vote to name one of the ten nominees as The People’s Choice Adventurer of the Year. At the end of voting (with more votes tallied than ever before), Kilian turned up with the most votes.
